Are you receiving me?

This is the portable receiver used by Ray to receive the signals from individual transmitters fitted to his study animals. By finding the direction from which the strongest signal is received, from several locations, the position of the animal can be determined. This revolutionised the way in which non-intrusive observations could be made of animals ... even at night.
