Diver release
Having been cut free from a net in Dunnet bay, this red throated diver is being released into St John's Loch. Many birds and mammals are not so lucky and netting can entangle and drown species such as divers and diving ducks, otters, seals and of course, marine mamals such as dolphin and porpoise.
