Guga Hunt Sula Sgeir

Jimmy MacGeoch was the first 'outsider' to accompany the men from the village of Ness in Lewis, to Sula Sgeir on their annual harvest of young gannet or guga. This is one of a classic series of pictures he took recording the event for posterity. © The Literary Estate of James MacGeoch
