Pterichthyodes milleri


Pterichthyodes milleri a fossil fish from the Old Red Sandstone, described vividly by Miller and bearing his name in recognition. At the time, these fossils were among the oldest vertebrate fossils ever discovered and they figured prominently in Agassiz’s work, “Fossil Fishes of the Old Red Sandstone”.
