Looking for Lichens
Group field visits provide an opportunity to share information and to learn from others. here are the Caithness countryside volunteers during a training day . Lichenologists Brian and Sandy Coppins are teaching them how to set up a monitoring scheme on lungwort which grows on the hazel in Dunbeath strath and is a priority biodiversity species for Caithness.
