Stranded whales
There are quite a few instances each year of whales getting disorientated and sometimes stranded. Here Mary is helping to refloat a stranded minke whale at Dunnet Bay by guiding it in shallow water she allows it to slowly recover and then (hopefully) swim away from the land into deeper water
